Review: This Australian guitarist who's real name is Johnson-Jay Medwik-Daley, has been performing under the name JJMD, his initials and also the name of his band. When performing solo he usually plays guitar, but can also play mandolin, tenor ukulele and bass.

JOHNSTON, Byron
Review: This young and very talented guitarist concentrates mainly on flamenco and latin American rhythms. While at university he formed a band called Cuba Libra with 3 friends, including Tom "baby bear" Worrall. Sadly they broke up when a couple of them emirgrated. For the past few years Byron has been hosting the "Strangers on a Train" showcase night at Fahrenheit 55 in Guildford. He has also been collaborating closely with the aclaimed violinist Anna Phoebe.
